Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG)
PSG is an Initiative by Enterprise Singapore (ESG), Infocomm Media Development Authority(IMDA) and Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA) to equip businesses with cybersecurity solutions.

Singtel has put together suitable solutions to help you benefit from these grants.

You can get up to 80% subsidy for pre-approved collaboration and cybersecurity solutions.

Who is eligible ?
  • Registered and operating in Singapore.
  • Purchase/lease/subscription of the IT solutions or equipment must be used in Singapore.
  • Have a minimum of 30% local shareholding.
  • Not more than S$100M annual turnover OR >200 employees.
  • The company must not have made any payment or signed any contract to a supplier, vendor or third party in relation to the purchase/lease/subscription of the IT solution or equipment.

Start Digital
This programme is supported by ESG and IMDA, under the SMEs Go Digital Programme.

With Start Digital, Singtel has developed solutions to help you streamline and automate processes, gain access to new markets and secure your business operations.

You can get FREE 6 months subscription when you sign up for a minimum of 2 eligible solutions.

Who is eligible ?
  • Registered and operating in Singapore.
  • Have a minimum of 30% local shareholding.
  • Not more than S$100M annual turnover OR >200 employees.
  • First time applicants for the Start Digital programme should not be using identical solutions.

SGUnited Jobs
Initiative
The SGUnited Jobs Initiative assists companies with manpower needs by expediting job matches and facilitating the movement of excess manpower.

Benefits:
  • Companies can post job vacancies on MyCareersFuture.gov.sg with #SGUnitedJobs to quickly reach out to a pool of active jobseekers.
  • Companies can tap on the assistance of Trade Associations and Chambers to facilitate and expedite intra-sector and inter-sector job matching.

SGUnited Mid-Career Pathways Programme - Company Attachment Companies can come onboard as Host Organisations to offer attachments to mid-career individuals under this programme for up to 6 months.

Benefits:
  • The Government will co-fund 80% - 90% of the training allowance.
  • Host Organisations will be able to tap on the experience of mid-career individuals to bring about new ideas and perspectives.
  • Upon completion of the attachment, host organisations may consider hiring well-performing individuals as permanent employees when business conditions improve and when they have greater confidence to hire.

SGUnited Traineeships Programme Through the SGUnited Traineeships programme, Host Organisations can gain access to a pool of fresh graduates from ITE, polytechnic and universities, and provide traineeship opportunities for up to 6 months.

Benefits:
  • The Government will co-fund 80% of the training allowance.
  • Upon completion of the traineeship, Host Organisations may consider hiring well-performing individuals as permanent employees when business conditions improve and when they have greater confidence to hire.

Career Trial Career Trial allows companies to assess jobseekers’ job fit through a short-term trial, before formal employment that pays $1,500 for full time positions or $750 for part time positions or more.

Benefits:
  • Additional avenue to hire Singapore citizens
  • WSG will provide a training allowance of $7.50-$15.00 per hour to the jobseekers for the trial period (up to 480hrs for full-time positions, up to 240hrs for part-time positions)
  • Salary support of 30% of monthly salary for up to 6 months, capped at $5,400 for each full time hire or $2,700 for each part time hire, for companies that hired unemployed Singapore Citizens who have been actively looking for jobs for 6 months or more

Professional Conversion Programmes (PCP) Companies can receive course fee subsidy and salary support/ training allowance for Professionals, Managers, Executives and Technicians (PMETs) while they undergo skills conversion and move into new occupations or sectors that have good prospects and opportunities.
There are three modes of PCP: Place-and-Train, Attach-and-Train and Redeployment/ Job Redesign Reskilling.

  • Tap into a wide pool of experienced workforce to meet company’s manpower needs
  • Leverage structured industry-recognised training
  • Redeploy existing workforce as part of business transformation
  • Minimise redundancies and reskill experienced employees to take on new job roles

Rank-and-File Programmes (NEW) The Rank-and-File Programmes assist companies by providing training and salary support to help companies reskill employees in RnF jobs so that they take on new or enhanced jobs roles.

P-Max P-Max helps SMEs to better recruit, train, manage and retain their newly hired Professional, Managers, Executives and Technicians (PMETs) through progressive human capital workshops.

Benefits:
  • SMEs that fulfil the six-month follow-up and retain their newly hired PMET will be eligible for a one-off grant of $5,000 or $10,000 Assistance Grant*.
  • Receive funding of up to 90% course fee subsidy.
  • Encourage adoption of progressive human capital practises to improve sustainability of SMEs.Assist with the acclimatisation of newly hired PMETs to the new SME work environment

Capability Transfer Programme Capability Transfer Programme supports companies through the transfer of capabilities from foreign specialists to the local workforce to plug capability gaps quickly.

Support for Job Redesign under Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG-JR)* To support their own business transformation initiatives, companies can work with pre-approved Job Redesign consultants to guide them in redesigning work processes, tasks and responsibilities.

Benefits:
  • Up to 80% funding, capped at $30,000 per company.
  • Supports business transformation, makes jobs more productive and attractive and help companies to hire and retain good workers to support their business.

Job Redesign Companies can leverage sector-specific solutions that have been co-developed with industry partners to streamline business processes and build new capabilities to enhance workforce productivity.
Sectors with Job Redesign initiatives include hotel, food services, retail, lifestyle, built environment, environmental services and security.

Benefits:
  • Companies can implement tried and tested Job Redesign solutions that are catered for specific sectors with funding support.
  • Through Job Redesign solutions, employees will also be able to reskill to take on higher job functions to enhance the overall workforce performance.

Senior Workers Early Adopter Grant and Part-Time Re-employment Grant (NEW) To encourage employer to retain senior workers in their workforce, WSG offers two grants to ensure companies implement good employment practices for senior workers.

Through Senior Workers Early Adopter Grant, companies that raise both their internal retirement and re-employment ages by 3 years above the minimum statutory requirements will receive funding support of up to $125, 000.

Separately, companies that commit to part-time re-employment policy for its eligible senior workers will receive funding support of up to $125, 000 under the Part-Time Re-employment Grant.

Benefits:
  • Allows companies to continue tapping on the rich experience and skillsets of these group of workers.
  • Companies can apply for either one or both grants, capped at total funding of $250,000

Equip your workforce with the digital skills to work confidently with technologies in your business. This is a 2-day course covering the basic foundation of e-commerce and tips to expand your online presence. Course fee is S$50* (net cost after funding) per employee.

SkillsFuture Jumpstart! Workshop (SFJS)
Go through this half-day interactive workshop to understand the importance of people strategy and experience how not having on will impact your business. More than 170 enterprises have benefitted from this workshop since its launch. Course fee is $42.50* (net cost after funding) per employee.
